Please be informed of upcoming WHO webinars in November 2021 that might be of interest to your Association:

 

  • Live learning webinars on Climate Change for Health.

Date: 15 November 2021,  3:00-4.15 PM CET & 18 November 2021, 7:00-8.15 CET

 

Following the COP 26 in Glasgow, UK, these 2 webinars have the objectives to stimulate interest, debate and discussion around nursing and midwifery engagement and commitment to the global Climate Change for Health agenda.  The 2 sessions will provide an overview of the impact of climate change on population health highlighting the work of the WHO around support to countries to manage this impact.  It will bring partners and experts together to generate actions and opportunities to work together through participation in an ongoing programme of work within the Nursing and Midwifery Global Community of Practice. Attached the flyer with instructions to register.

 

  • Global webinar on infection prevention and control in maternal care entitled “Safe maternity care for all: the key role of infection prevention and control (IPC) ”.
    Date: 
    19 November 2021,  2:00-3:30 PM CET
